Is there a way to make my render node private, so I can only use it for DR and not the whole office?  I am renting a desk and just installed a render node for my use, but it seems that anybody can click search LAN and it will show up on their PC...

Currently you can do it via firewall. We can add IP filtering to DR server, log a feature request with us if you are interested

It might be simpler to implement some kind of simple password system, perhaps. On each of your DRspawners you could set a simple password, which you then enter in your DR settings in your max file. If they don't match the nodes don't render.

that would require setting up PKI crypto chain to make it really work, IMHO it is not worth it

On this forum or via mantis ( https://corona-renderer.com/bugs/my_view_page.php ), but please do not use both (do not make duplicates).
