Can you give some details on the workflow and what you mean - e.g. you try to uncheck Bloom and Glare but it won't uncheck, or it will uncheck but the result is still visible, and things like "only happens in IR" or "happens in final renders and IR", etc. It's working fine here (it both unchecks, and stops creating the effect) so would need to know more about what you mean.

Also, which version of Max, which version of Corona - "new" or "latest" doesn't help sorry, as what you THINK is new or latest may not be, so always tell us Corona 8 RC 2, etc. Thanks!

Tom
Good morning.
Thank you for the reply.

Max 2020.
Corona build , the latest official release a week ago.
Project built from scratch with max reset and Corona from the start also. Yes the Bloom and Glare option is not clickable.
I have tried the render panels also, and they is the same.
So everything has bloom and glare on it.
Hope this gets fixed soon.

The Cosmos issue is a strange one.
if I am in a project and want to start Cosmos, I go the start Cosmos server, nothing happens.
I have to quite out and restart max and then try.

Philip

Hi Philip, please make sure that Bloom and Glare settings are disabled in any of these parameters in Render Setup & Camera parameters.Should the issue persist, please consider sending us an archive of the scene to investigate further.

As for your experience with Cosmos, you can always try the following:

- Stop Cosmos Browser process from your task manager (ctrl-alt-del)
- Rerun the service with admin. rights from C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\Chaos Cosmos\cbservice.exe
- Try Cosmos Browser from Corona Toolbar.

Thank you .
In the past version of Corona Renderer, during the rendering process, you could turn it on and off to see the effect it would have the on the image.
That seems to be the issue.

This hasn't changed, it is still the case for Corona version 8 RC2, but please note that if your CoronaCamera has its postprocessing tab overriding VFB bloom and Glare you won't be able to enable/disable it by the VFB, but only through the Camera modify panel.
