I like the light through the big window. May I ask a question? Is there a small amount of AO applied on the grey material of kitchen cabinets, or its just the lightning/modeling that creates nice small shadows from the profiles? Thank you for answer :)

Yeah, I followed step 3 - removing these files and it seems to work fine :-) I only had to restart computer after removing, that was not mentioned in the tutorial, but nevermind... And yes, I mean blue screen and I know it is not Corona fault, but I mentioned it just to be sure I have two different issues. The CPU is not overclocked... Maybe - after all possible updates I've done - I have to update BIOS too... Thanks for help, Maru!

Hi everybody,

I am struggling with 3DsMax crashing almost always while rendering, some times immediately after render start, sometimes after a while... Sometimes it ends with BSoD.

My setup:
AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 3.60 GHz, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, 3DsMax 2017, Corona 1.7 Daily Build 10 July 2017

Any ideas? Thank you :-)

Minidumps from max and win in attachment.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I was just following this tutorial and wondering, what could by wrong. But I use Max 2014, maybe they have fixed the display limitation in version 2015...?

[Max] Resolved Bugs / 3DS MAX NATIVE WOOD MAP IN VIEWPORT
« on: 2016-12-15, 10:12:20 »
Hi, I discovered a small issue using 3DS max native wood map - it renders fine with Corona, but the preview doesn't match the result at all... Standard material acts the same, but a Mental Ray one looks ok. It's quite confusing. It would be nice to see it correct ;) Thank you!
