So how can i assign my calibrated screen profile into ps? Because i check color Settings and changed it to RGB preserve, but it did not change anything. Maybe i have to select the calibrated screen profile as well!?

[C4D] I need help! / Same colors in Photoshop as in VFB
« on: 2023-06-26, 21:59:00 »
Hello Forum,
im struggling with the color workflow for some time now. Since im having a better monitor these days i get noticed the color differences while doing color grading in Photoshop. Im using ACES OT Setting in the vfb Viewer and within C4d everything looks fine. As soon i save the image as openexr and 32 bit and bring it over to Photoshop things are getting worse The image does not look the same. I saw some videos where thy using a plugin called openior to transform between color spaces to get the same look as with the aces workflow, but for some reasons i cant activate the setting within the plugin, maybe corona is not savin in the opencolor format? So how are you handling the image correction worklfow guys, cant be that difficult? Thank You for any advice!

[C4D] I need help! / Take Manager Camera Exposure
« on: 2022-11-26, 11:47:42 »
Hello Forum,
can someone explain me how to change Exposure Value when using the c4D take system?
I have a room with different light settings, and i need to render out the images with different exposure values.
For Some reasons the recorded exposure Value seems not to be in the final image. Is it not possible to
record the camera exposure in the take system? Im using c4d 2023 and Corona 9, also tried c4ds r21 with Corona 8, with no luck.

When rendering the image without the take manager everything looks good, so the exposure value must be overwritten from the previous image or so.
Im familiar with the take system and i did not have any problems until today... so im thinking of a bug? Also there is no Icon for the Corona-Camera Tag in the Take Manager
It shows a missing Icon Symbol.

Thank You
Christian

Hardware / Good Laptop for working with Corona
« on: 2022-08-04, 08:51:38 »
Hello Guys,
im going to travel for a while and need a good laptop for working with corona. Normally I pass the 64gb in the very beginning of my projects, so the question is if there is a good laptop to buy or is this not possible in this case? Most of the laptops are just having max 64 gb of ram. Any advices?

Cheers

Hello,
when saving a szene build with corona 6 and reopen it with corona 5, there will come a error message like "error in filestructure" or in german "Fehlerhafte Dateistruktur" and file cant be open. Just for letting you know.

Hello Forum,
im rendering a interior animation, classical curtain in the wind animation with a alembic file out of marvelous designer. To keep rendertime fast i just want to render the specific region. therefore i defined the render region in c4d rendersettings. But unfortunately corona hang up while calculating secondary gi uhd cache. If i render the hole image without defining the render region everything work fine, or if i defined the render region via the vfb picture viewer it works also. Any ideas? Is it possible to define a render region with the vfb picture viewer which do not get lost on every new frame? Im working in R18, but did a test on R21 too with Corona 5 HF2.

Thank you
Christian
