Hi,
Photographers are taking wide panorama shots where they combine 2 or 3 shots to make wide panorama pictures. I was trying to do similar shot of interior space but when I combined the shots I always got some kind of distorted image. Is it possible to make clean wide panorama picture and what is the correct workflow for it? How should I move or rotate camera between shots?

Hi, have you tried using the Fisheye camera for such a thing?

The great thing about 3D graphics compared to real life photography is that you basically have unlimited focal length. :) You can zoom in a lot or make your shot super-wide-angle.
I would either try with Fisheye as Beanzvision suggested, or try rendering a spherical/cylindrical panorama, or simply setting a crazy camera focal length and adjusting the render output aspect ratio to your needs.

I would like to have straight horizontal and vertical lines. At least it sounds like I would get distorted picture if I use fisheye lens. Or am I wrong?

You're right, it gets distorted.
IIRC... finalRender from Cebas offers such panorama camera feature.

If you really need it I guess you could go with another 2d software that offers these kind of image transforms.
If you tried to stitch several images and it failed, I guess it could be a problem if you use a backdrop image and the software failed to reconstruct a valid distortion due to a lack of a parallax change. If your camera only rotates around it's nadir and all images have the same fov and size I couldn't think of a reason why it fails. Never tried it though.

Hi. I think a cylindrical 360 or 180 panorama should do the job, if you crop out the top and bottom after the rendering.
Hope it helps

I agree with pokoy. Use another 2d software
