Hello.
I'm still a beginner at this and I'm looking to download as big a library of materials as possible. The way I learn is by applying materials, then working out how the effect was achieved. At this point I need to get a big library together as I'm learning 'on the job' so need to just get immediate access to all kinds of materials so my 'learning' phase doesn't slow me down too much!
Any recommendations please?
Thanks in advance.

I got SOMAT that I found useful. There are a few other packs on Gumroad, for car paint, metals etc but this pack is more varied.

Hi there,

Corona comes with a large material library and also Cosmos for even more materials. If you want basic materials, the Corona Physical material also has a preset for many materials. Another free repository is https://www.corona-materials.de/en/material-library/-

Here's a list of quality materials that either I have purchased, or have me eye on. There are also lots of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) sets out there. Once you get comfortable, you can easily build a nice looking material without getting too complicated.
