Wouldn't be too much to ask to add "like" button to forum? It's too many times i wanted to show agreement to certain posts or jus say that i like particular picture in galery, but didn't wanted to add to my rapidly growing postcount or to waste other members time.

Some forums have "thanks" a button, and users have counters how many times someone thanked them for some kind of help. I think this would make more sense.
We generally always encourage users to write a short constructive post rather than just "wow nice work". ;)

Call it whatever you like. Anything that would allow to reduce number of posts with zero usefull info, but still gives opportunity to show appreciation, would be more than welcome, IMHO.

Wow, that would be cool.  j/k I'm also one for " keep me from viewing a new post, that contains the words of wisdom, 'awesome rendering'. "

Our art school, seriously frowned on such non-contributing C&C.
