Hi Forum!  Does anyone have any recent recommendation on paid-libraries for very high-quality (meaning 16k resolution maps) assets for product-viz?  Specifically I am on the hunt for props to help with small product shots (so think intricate small stone slabs, highly detailed small-scale wood planks..etc).  Seems like all the usual libraries lack this as they are more arch-viz props that are rarely rendered very close-up.

Curious if anyone has any recommendations heading into the new year!  Thanks!

Hi, thanks!  I've typically sourced from Turbosquid, Cosmos, Quixel (although I am not a fan of Fab at all), sometimes Poliigon.  Given the work we do, we would prefer to buy ready-made assets that would easily import in (i.e. Cosmos and Bridge when it worked) rather than build things from scratch our mess around trying to figure out the proper parameters for each texture map.

Any help would be appreciated!

Besides the ones already mentioned, I would recommend checking these:
https://texture.supply/ (extremely large and good looking textures)
https://exorbitart.shop/ (up to 16k textures)
https://ambientcg.com/ (up to 8k textures)
https://www.textures.com/ (up to 16k textures)

There are also many individual artists that sell good stuff on gumroad or other sites too but I suppose it's a bit tedious to scroll through all of them when looking for a specific texture. I wish there was some sort of AI enhanced search that would help finding images better because I have an issue of having a large 2d library on my drives but finding the right asset sometimes takes longer than taking a not-so-shiny texture and making it work.

Unfortunately I think you're going to have to put a bit of manual work in to get what you want.  Find the right model, then set up your own materials with the high res textures you've found from the sites already listed.  Here are a few more

https://thirdmap.au/ - high res stone/marble textures up to 32k
https://materialsoftheworld.com/ - up to 25k
https://polyhaven.com/textures - up to 16k
https://extremetextures.com/collection/all - up to 12k I think
