Check the roadmap item that noel20 posted the link to (in other words, light lister functionality is on the map for being part of 1.5 itself, all being well).

Ok then, I probably had the wrong object selected - many thanks! Love the one-click way of adding objects to a list btw.

I love it too! And how it recognizes groupings - that makes things nice and easy to set up, nice and easy to add, then nice and easy to control in the LightMix! Let us know if all works well and as expected in your scene.

If you have objects with CoronaLightMtl, the one-click Setup LightMix Elements button (in the System panel of Render Setup) will add the object. If Emit Light is enabled, then the LightMix will control it as expected; if Emit Light is off, although you get a CShading_LightSelect render element created, you can't adjust it in the LightMix. So any objects with CoronaLightMtl should work fine, keeping that in mind.

EDIT - and you can add them manually too of course, should you want to :) That also works fine.

Which one? :) There is one that is not available externally, but the one I've used in the tutorials I make is from the third party Corona Materials Library site (http://coronamaterials.com/)

There are also a couple of threads on the forum with various shader balls available, e.g.

Hope this helps!

That Nova would make a nice car, where can I get one :)

Lol, dang Freud - as one lecturer used to say, Freud's theories were a great description of Freud, more so than a great description of everyone!

And nice fix Romulus!

And so as not to be completely off-topic, I hope to see more renders from this project too!

Yes, design-wise it's quite a bold concept. I personally like the Cruella de Vil styled proportions and the fact that it's electric.

Cruella de Ville proportions, that's exactly it! Personally I like it, but I have a thing for bonnets (hoods) that go on forever in front of the driver lol.

Don't forget we are looking for people experiencing this problem - just a note here for anyone who finds this thread first, please see:

Ah how I remember the joys of having to move CRTs around :) And the desk space they needed too, ugh! Sounds like it is indeed an artistic-style consideration in that case :)

Even though few people use teapots to make tea any more, the teapot will live on forever thanks to users of 3D software....

That latest one is better - I was wondering if it was simply an artistic style decision. If you wanted to check the calibration on your monitor, you can purchase specific monitor calibration tools, but a search for "monitor calibration" should turn up a bunch of free sites with images to help check contrast etc (they are just a series of "test cards" but can still help if things are displaying as they should so that you know others will see things as you see them - assuming the viewer's monitor is properly calibrated that is :) ).

If I open and render the scene as sent with no changes, I get the image attached, and everything looks ok I believe? This is Max 2017, Corona 1.4. All objects are set to be visible when I checked how the scene is set up, with everything listed as a separator being visible. Is this different from your result rendering with the scene as sent? Or is there something I need to change in order to see the problem where the image outside gets cut off?

Thanks!
