I would want to know how you guys approach these kind of renderings - perspective render of a floor plan with clipped wall section to better expose the interior. Example in attachment.

What is the easiest and quickest way to do it in Corona/Max or Corona/C4D.

I thought about knife tool-ing the complete object in cinema4d or maybe boolean everything with a box. I know also that v-ray has a camera plane clipper and so does corona... but I am not sure what would work the best.
Thank you :)

As for C4D, I've tried it with corona, but had to use vray with it's camera clipping. Few days later had the same situation with very small indoor space. C4d composition tag worked like vray tag, so I could hide walls etc for corona. I love c4d for project manager while I always group stuff or use layers in situations like this. But comp tags are also very handy. When real cam clipping is ready for corona Id be most happy.
Cheers

Thank you for your suggestions :) I have ended up using V-Ray Clipper in the end, since I was kind of short on time. I would still want to see some Corona driven renders on this matter, since I am actively trying to go away from v-ray.

What I usually do is just right click my roof object properties and uncheck visible to camera. I have found this to be the best practice so far.

Removing the roof was not a problem, I was thinking about cutting my walls into half (height).

Had a few clients asking me this before see examples, basically I do it with slice/split same story hide from camera. I have tried numerous ways to do these renders and time wise this is for ( me ) the fastest.
And then just cap the openings.

Edit : sorry for the large images -> imgur

Nice! Exactly what I was thinking about. I booled the walls with a box for my last project, came out okay... but I guess I am gonna use slice plane next time and do it your way - looks great! Thank you for your feedback :)

Btw this was in Cinema or Max?

Ty, I'm no benoit, but my clients are happy lol.

I use Max, I seldom use boolean for my main geometry, slice does the job just just fine and less messy.
One thing though, depending on the scene ( haven't figured out why ) the edges of your wall might end up black. So there is a chance you will have to paint over them in PS.
