Any chance we can get a texture version of the Layered material node? Instead of materials you can plug in textures and other corona maps rather than materials?

Have you tried the standard Composite map? It does exactly what you need..

You can use the Mix node to combine textures.

@blanchg  The mix node can do that but it becomes clustered and pile up easily whereas a layered texture node design will be neater and easier to manage. It would be similar to the composite node for textures in 3dsmax as mentioned by giona4. If this cannot be done. It's okay. :)

I can hide the detail of multiple mix nodes with something that looks like the layered material node.
