Corona for Cinema 4D Alpha 6 RC1 released!

Seamless integration of Corona into the C4D UI, the port to macOS, new features from the Corona Renderer 1.5 core (LightMix, bloom & glare, PBR materials, denoising, and more), plus a big push on stability - the last is why we are going with a Release Candidate today with all the new features, to give a few weeks for testing by you, our users "out in the field", before calling Alpha 6 final in 2 to 3 weeks!

Hi guys, i tried RC1 and bloom & glare seam not working ..

I checked Bloom and glare in VFB, tried 1, 2, 10 etc in bloom/glare intensity : Nothing happend
and when u change the value it uncheck Bloom and glare.

And where we add lut ? For Lut oppacity in VFB

Noticed that myself, on both counts - for the LUT, I believe this is not yet enabled just we have a UI option present, but the devs will let us know more in good time. On the bloom and glare, also noticed it isn't working. Don't forget to raise Mantis reports for things that are bugs, if you don't see that someone has raised it already - TY!

Posted the bloom and glare as 2258 on Mantis, you can add notes if you are running on a different version of C4D, different OS, etc.

Just in case, you could add notes to that bug report on your C4D version and OS, just in case only specific ones are affected.

Rendering HDRI with portals is slower and produce more noise than without them, noticed this in previous A6 builds.

1.Without portals 20 pass - 00:42 sec
2.With portals 20 pass - 00:52 sec

tried in multipass...no effect...

i love corona for c4d! but how can it happen, that rc1 will be released...and Bloom etc doesn´t work...

VERY COOL.... but it seems to make a mistake in the light mix table in we use sky with HDRI.... it seems that put the sky in the " rest unnamed "...

And there is something unpleasant when u use a rayswith material, it become transparent in the viewport. Is it possible to see the direct visibility material in viewport ?

And there is another thing i dont understand. I use lightmix pass, i do my setting for the lights with lightmix in vfb but if i denoise is done on the beauty pass.. no on the lightmix pass ?

I moved back to 5.1 New version is crashing quite a lot, render queue freezed everytime. It seems like bloom and glare are not working and vfb is crashing too. Light mix did not work here,

after several tests... though posteffects dont work...

this new rc1 looks promising!
quite stable here and lightmix is awesome!
