Hello
I often create a design concept where I have to show various views of the same item. I will usually create an instance of the object, move and rotate it etc.
Usually when I create the instance - the decal will just go missing. Won't feature on the render.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Is it a glitch/bug?
Any workarounds?
Thanks in advance!

Do you mean the object and decal are grouped in some way, and you instance the entire group? Or the decal does not get instanced, just the object it is applied to does?

Hi, you need to make the decal a child of the object before making the instance. I have covered it here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=38490.msg206227#msg206227

I was going to reply to this thread as it sounded similar to my issue a ways back, but couldn't find thread. Thanks for that and it's a good refresher to remember that workaround.
