Hello,

Has anyone found this issue when rendering a mograph animation which uses a connect object? The issues only happens when you use motion blur.

Placed here a simple example to better see the issue.

Is this a known limitation, bug or an I missing something?

(edit: I am using c4d r26.107 + corona 10 jun20)

Thanks

What's the glitch? Your scene has no camera in it ;)

Sorry my bad...

I added a camera to the scene now in attach, although with or without the camera the results are very similar, here.
I also added a clip of the seen behaviour, also attached.

Hi, I see what you mean. We will need to look into this. I'd suggest for now to remove the connect object as the end result is the same with or without it.

Yes, in that example with or without the connect object works well, but in more complicated structures everything becomes a mess and impossible to use motion blur.

Thanks

It's the Weld option in the Connect object.
With it, the topology changes all the time, you change the point count and make it impossible for the Motion Blur to work properly.
