Author Topic: [RESOLVED] cosmos browser doesn't work  (Read 5563 times)

Hello, Cosmos Browser doesn't work for a week. At first it worked, then out of the blue it doesn't open anymore. Once clicked, the window opens but remains with a white background. I deleted corona and reinstalled again but nothing changes. I have read several articles online but none helpful. i tried also with v9. Nothing changes. I ask you for a solution please.
Cinema r25.117
Corona V9 (dailybuild May 23 2022)
MacOs Mojave 10.14.6

Hi there, can you please try uninstalling it again and then try with the V8 hotfix 1 build and let us know the outcome?

I just tried, always the same. all materials library works but not cosmos browser. Always the same window with a white background.

just to say the problem was not solved. from the assistance they advised me to delete all traces of cosmos and to reinstall it. nothing has changed, the usual window with a white background.

IDK, if this goes also for MacOS but, have you tried manually starting cbservice (on W10, it's in Program Files/Chaos Group/Cosmos Service) or checking, if it is blocked otherwise?

IDK, if this goes also for MacOS but, have you tried manually starting cbservice (on W10, it's in Program Files/Chaos Group/Cosmos Service) or checking, if it is blocked otherwise?

I have seen several videos where they successfully follow this procedure but I do not know if it is possible on mac, or at least I am not capable. Also, I work with c4d and corona 8, cosmos is included in corona 8, I don't know if the procedure of the videos in question can also be applied in my case. Perhaps even in this case it is I who am not capable. In the macOs system in Application / Chaos Group / ChaosCosmos I have cbservice.bin, I don't really know what to do with it.
