I still have the following technical specifications:
Used C4D version: C4D S22
Used Corona version: Version 7 Hotfix 2
Used OS version: MacOS Catalina 10.15.6
Computer Specs: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) 3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9 /
72 GB 2133 MHz DDR4 / AMD Radeon Pro 5700 8 GB

What are the steps that one could take to arrive at this error?
I activate one of the cameras in the folder: 00 - SCENE - 03 - A - SHORELINE, turn on the corresponding sun and sky in the same folder. Then I start the Interactive Render Process. Initially the scene seems to be rendered, but after it has worked 2 or 3 times and I change the camera, the program crashes after render pass 5.
To me it is completely inexplicably warm.

Hallo

I need urgent help please. I want to render a scene in C4D with Corona Render and shortly after I start the render process C4D crashes with the following message:
The plugin CoronaCore has crashed.
More information can be found in
'/Users/katharinabayer/Library/Preferences/Maxon/Maxon Cinema 4D R22_F2A48324/_bugreports/_BugReport.txt'.

After clicking 'OK' unsaved scene files will be saved as '_bugreports/_recovery_xxx.c4d'.

I have already sent the report to the manufacturer under CYAAN - do you know any help how to fix the problem?

Hello

Do any of you know how to use corona material well to create a fabric material that wrinkles like in the reference picture? The difficulty is that the folds should act like a stretched fabric, therefore starting from the corners. Depending on the size of the area / format of the extended sun blinds, the folds would have to adapt. How do you do this?

I need help please. I use the plugin "Surface Spread" for cloning objects in C4D. With it I have created a test-meadow on a surface. Now I'd like to use Sweep-Object to spread out a path, analogous to the official Corona render post (https://blog.corona-renderer.com/corona-renderer-6-for-cinema-4d-released/). So the grasses should be cut out along the sweep and then slowly spread to the dense meadow. Attached is a screenshot from the Corona homepage.
I have now created the meadow, as well as the sweepnurb.
I have also created the distance shader, but unfortunately it has no effect. In the attachment you can see my settings - what am I doing wrong, can you please help me?

1: Has the Spine of the Sweep to be set on 0 Y-level, cutting into the surface-spread-distribution-plane, or should der Sweep hover over the surface-spread-distribution-plane as now in my setting?

2:Is it right to connect the Cloning-Object (surface spread) to the distance shader by putting the cloning object into the shader effector selection (see screenshot: Shader Effector)

3:What should the values in XYZ at the Shader Parameter (see screenshot: Shader Parameter) affect?

4:Is the way how to setup the distance shader right (see screenshot: setup distance shader1+2)? How should the Near color and Far color affect?

Thanks for your advice. I send attached 2 screenshots of my iMacs.

The render time per frame is 4:45 min. each. , regardless if I use a Thunderbolt to connect the Macs together and do team renders or just render with the 10-core-iMac alone.

The 4-core iMac is actually an older device.

I want to render a movie with a tracking shot where the camera is pointed head-on at a building facade and moves along it. The scene has surface spread clones, lots of materials, and a complex model. In total, the image sequence would be 500 frames long.

I have attached one frame as a png for you. Can you take this opportunity to explain why the metal (circled in orange) makes such funny spots here? If I render only one image alone / no animation, I don't have this problem.

@BigAI3D how do I make such a "baked cache file" and how do I make that specifically available for the render client as well?

I have now tested the first variant of yours.Once with Arbitrated (experimental) and the values 20 / 128 and another time with 30 / 256.

Unfortunately, both speech times are completely identical to the original attempt with the standard team render setting on "Automatic".

Therefore, unfortunately, no improvement.

Thanks for your fast response. I will  try the settings you said and also will try the "Team Render Server". With the "Team Render Server I had the Problem with the login of the Webinterface: I should enter "admin" as username, but what should be my password? The one for my Corona license is not working, also not the one for my iMac-User-Login. How di I figure out that password?

Hello

I am a bit disappointed, I have connected a second iMac (4 cores) called "B" to my standard render iMac (10 cores) with Thunderbolt to render an image sequence.

The strange thing is that if I render with iMac "A" alone, the rendering process is faster than with team render.

Can someone please explain to me what I am doing wrong?

Does anyone know how I can solve this error, that pops up by starting "Team Render to Picture Viewer"

 ERROR: "Saving Failed: Could not create Job because all needed assets could not be extracted"

In advance a window popped up showing some texture names, but in the project itself these textures are not missing

Hello

I am currently trying to render simple animation in Cinema/Corona and have some questions for you.
For example, I want to point a camera frontally at a building facade and move this facade from left to right frontally.
Would be great if you can help me with this.

1. animation as MOV / MP4 file versus Image Sequenze as PNG/TIF
I have read that it is better to render image sequences, because in case of a crash the render time is not completely lost. How do you see this? Do you render the stills as PNG or TIF? How many bits?

2. when I render image sequences, is there a way to also export the Corona multipasses so that I can later work with masks in Davinvi Resolve for example?

3. reduce render time via UHD Cache: how does this work in C4D/Corona? I found this link here for 3ds Max /Corona (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515648-how-to-use-the-uhd-cache-for-animations-and-stills).
Under point 1 it says "For example for 400-frames animation, you can set 3ds Max to render every 50th frame to render the UHD Cache only for 8 frames." where can I set this in C4D?

4. what influence do the camera settings have on the render time?
e.g. shutter speed and DOF.

5. do you have any tips to shorten the render time without losing image quality? Especially for slow camera movements where many stills are necessary?

6. do you know any good video tutorials for creating videos from Cinema/Corona? Or gladly also good online courses?

I work now on a new Project and strangely I have the same problem with the visible polygone lines by using the displacement material option even after unchecking NEW 2.5D Displacement.

Does anyone know another solution for this problem?
