Oh yeah my next question was going to be about neural rendering :P are you guys playing around with that?

Watching, but not playing around with.

BTW I think CPUs are entering a different time too, now with chips having only some cores being performance cores, and some being economy cores. The direction of progress is always shifting! Going to be an interesting next couple of years (mind you it is always an interesting next couple of years, which is something I love about tech!)
