Hi,

It seems that CMasking_Mask - Manual Selection is exploding 3ds max saving time.. up to 5 min from 20 sec. Is this well know problem?

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to approximate ram load, sometimes it s happening that overload our nodes right before deadlines. We usually tend to optimize using proxyes, forest, railclone, instances and lower high texture sizes. Renders are at 5k with lots of RGB masks (need them for post so we can't reduce the number). Nodes have 64gb of ram.

As the title says, deleting lots of corona lights takes lots of time for some reason. It is a corona bug or a 3ds max bug? Using 3Ds Max 2016.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for answering. The Stop/Cancel button is not grayed out. Just does not work. I get the same error if or if not I have setup a pass limit.

It seems that the only ways to make it stop is to restart max or to start a full res render from the 3Ds Max render tool bar.

Hi,

Sometimes when rendering with interactive I am unable to stop/cancel the render. Is there a solution for this?

Also my Delete key is not working from time to time when trying to delete objects, after restarting 3ds max everything is fine. Does someone encounter this bugs?

Good to know! Just trying tile rendering at the moment but I get some differences between tiles when I do not precompute the UHD Cache. Precomputing is the way for a clean result?

Thanks for replying. I am not seeking the standard Corona DR option. I am looking after the off-load option present in Deadline (3ds Cmd). Attached you can find a screen shot.

That option allows me to send the render to a master node which can have other nodes as slaves.

Another option available is to split the render in tiles. Is there any documentation regarding this process?

Can some tell me if it is possible to offload a job on multiple nodes? So there you have one master node and other nodes rendering the same image?
