Ludvik you and this scene are the reason I slaved to learn MR in depth and why I am over here now on team Corona. Many thanks for this, will definitely purchase.
Yep same here, despite beign 5 years old this project is probably still the best MR tutorial online.

One question remains.Who stole all the furniture?
That mental ray tutorial was easily the best tutorial i had ever seen and i also requested a corona version of it so thank you. You and jeff patton and also a bit of ramy hanna and thorsten too where like my mental ray role models back in the days until you switched to corona :D... although ramy hanna went the other direction:( .... im glad i followed you in this direction since alpha4 . hmm, wheres scionik visuals by the way:{One question though: those vray renders of empty esherick house on turbosquid look really great like they have more bounced light in the scene than corona. are they raw renders or post processed?
One of the more complex tuts on Ronen's site (among a sea of "well, I used floorgen, hit the button and just got this final render" )
I had to google the' Farnsworth house from 'Marla'/Alessandro Prodan' :)That's some very impressive work with Mental ray. Back then, post processing would have been a must especially to fix some of Mental ray's errors. It's really cool to see how far renderers have come with glare, bloom, Light mixers and all. I would admit Mental Ray did serve it's purpose during its time.Yep, a good number of tutorials back then weren't quite in-depth. His tutorial on the otherhand was very helpful.Seriously though, how time flies :)
BTW, Rawa since you rendered it in both Corona and V-ray can we have some time coparsion? I belive it will be pretty informative since the result is obviously very similar and the scene is complex enough to get a decent test.
