24h for building that monstrosity from scratch???!!! Man, i wish i 'd be half productive as you.

Top work!

24h of raw work :) That means if you put 2 hours into it a day each day, you would spend two weeks on it, having break on sundays :) That doesn't sound so impressive anymore. But yeah, if i was crazy enough to work for 12 hours a day without losing focus, i could do it in two days i think :) I didn't though :)

It's still pretty impressive time. I would take like 100, just because I spend 80perc. of time rotating models and doing pointless test renders.

OSOM!... looks pretty nice. Imagine a model like that unwraped for good in a game engine (render to texture cof! cof!), and if your topology is a "little" messy mine is a monstruosity.
Agreed with most that tires needs a better dirt.

Waiting to see animated!.
What i do with Corona My Corona post of random stuff rendering

omg, same here.. With like 40-50% done I would start doing crap test renders until i got tired and quit :D So yeah.. This kind of stuff in 24h and if textures were done within that time it is pretty damn nice productivity level..

If you would be able to do it in 2-3 sessions including research and gathering references to final model with textures then 24h of total work is pretty much a master skill :D

PS: about rotating models :D.. I recommend 3D mouse, huge timesaver for me.

{Off-topic,sorry} I do have it, won one at Splash :- D It only made rotating far more enjoyable activity.

Pretty impressive :)
I am not into games much but I really like shape of this whale. Those 24 hours are pretty much very impressive, I am curious, did you use some of quixel suite for texturing of it?

Nope...

Mostly procedural maps and AO based based dirt/scratching, so i don't have to unwrap it.
