I had the same problem. When using the interactive render a lot my memory slowly increased after every render. The memory did not clean up. In my case, this was a windows 10 problem. A driver leaked memory. The problem discovering this was that is wasn't a problem with every scene. Worse, it wasn't the same problem with the same scene every day.
Looking forward to your investigations. If you want to share some settings or describe your steps, please do. I think they are interesting for a lot of people on this forum can learn from them. Keep on the interesting work!
Nice and clean! especially 15-jul.jpg is a nice shot. What did you use for lighting this scene only corona sun and sky? I assume you used fog material here. Would you be so kind to share your settings? It is one of the best fog I have seen on this forum yet.
Maybe a noob question but what settings do you use for your System units and Display units in max? For my system units I use centimeters. Used to use millimeters but this gives problems with larger urban projects. So I set it to centimeters now and keep my display settings to metric/millimeters. Is this the best setup?
I ask this because I get this really annoying units mismatch dialog (since max 2016) for my xrefs. So I want to turn all my xrefs into the correct setup. So I don't have to press ok 20 times when I open a file.
I have the same problem. In my case it is/was a right problem I guess. Somehow the 3ds max command line hasn't got the rights to open the links. When a node has all administrator rights it works. This works for me but I don't know if this is the proper solution.
