HI

When I introduce high poly objects in the corona distance map, moving them in the viewport is extremely heavy.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Thanks

You can always use a dummy object/gizmo that is lightweight and can be linked to the original mesh, can you please specify what exactly you are trying to move?

I added a distance map in opacity and added my object to it.  When I move this object or any object that I have added to this map, this movement is difficult to do.  This is a problem that always occurs to me.

Can you please archive your scene and upload it using our private uploader in order for us to investigate this further?

Private Uploader: https://corona-renderer.com/upload (for files above 256MB please use the dropbox at the bottom of the linked page)

If not, can you please offer some reproduction steps for us to try and recreate your issue, also which Corona version you are currently using?

Thanks.

Thanks,

I create a scene with a few simple objects, as you can see in the file, the objects are simple, but since they are added to the distance map, they will be very heavy to move.

Thank you, I am reporting this for further assessment by the development team: (internal id=416064683)

My previous suggestion still stands, ideally and till further improvements are introduced. I would simply create a non-renderable gizmo-shell and apply the node input to it instead of the high-poly mesh. This should resolve any lag issues both in viewport and IR.
