Hello,

We are getting a common problem in all projects (medium to big size) that we didnt have previously to the last two corona updates.
We worked with bigger projects/files and this didnt happen before.
We have 128GB ram in the main workstation and it gets stuck many times in the "computing sec. GI phase", normally in the end of the green bar.
Even if we turn "on" conserve memory in the corona preferences, it gets stuck the same.
Once it gets stuck it doesnt even let us cancel render. We have to restart Max everytime. We open the scene, same view and sometimes it renders, sometimes it block again.
Anyone having the same issue? How can this be solved? Its quite irritating and block work flow.

Hi,
I suggest you to open support ticket, as this kind of problems rarely can be solved on the forum. https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

Hi,

This sounds similar to the bug that was reported here: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=27024.0

If you are using 3ds Max render regions I suggest for the time being to remove them if possible.

Please let me know if this solves your issue.

Thanks,

Rowan

Yes, thanks it seems to be related too.
We used Full view after we seen the reply and it started rendering easly.

We use many times Max region. That must be the problem.
So if we start using Corona region everything is good?

Regions are a must have.

Hi,

We weren't able to reproduce this issue with Corona regions.

We are still investigating a fix for this and I will update this thread when I have some more information.

Thanks,

Rowan
