Spline fall off only up to a 100 cm

Am I right to understand that scatter along a spline fall off can only be set to a limited distance, in my case up to 100 cm.

So I have checked this and it seems that it has changed since the article was published. Please try clicking on the spline, then expand the UI using the arrow and manually input your distance.
