Hello!!! Hi! I'm looking for some advice: as an illustrator, I work mostly on character creation... but I've got a commission here for a whole street, with a late afternoon light, a mix of "golden hours" and Wes Anderson... so I'm thinking of using a sky physical, and a sun, whereas I usually only use hdri and lamps... There are a lot of architectural renderings here, so if anyone has any advice? thanks!!!...

Do you have any reference at hand, color scheme, mood board, ...?
Anyways, you can simply use Corona's Sky & Sun (w/ Sun tag) then set time & location (+ extras) to your taste. Or just set Sun color to 'golden'/yellowish or to temperature (~<4000 K)

Why not an HDR image? There are plenty of golden hour shots to use. Rotate the Corona sky to get the sun where you want it. You can also check out the tutorials by Common Point - lots of good advice on HDRs.
