Had a bad surprise. "Clean MultiMaterial" utility from 3DS Max, when used on the whole scene, messes up all Corona Proxies multi materials.

Here's a list of symptoms I found:

-If the proxy has only a single material applied, it is fine.
-If the proxy has a "Multi/Sub-Object" material applied, then the utility removes all sub-materials except one (I didn't investigate which material it keeps, maybe the last one? idk)

Hello guys! I did this project today as a practice exercise. I saw a similar image on the website of an English studio "Silvershadow Studio". But they did this image with a jet airplane, and I used a helicopter and many other differences.

my Behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/157326359/Helicopter-CGI

Softwares: 3DS Max, Corona 9, Photoshop, Pulze Scene Manager.

I liked the result very much, but we only see the flaws once we improve even further. So, does anyone has any feedback for me to improve on the next images?

Hello guys! I did another project for this building (currently under construction in Brazil), so I used the architecture as an exterior visualization practice. Any feedback is appreciated.

A render I did with 3DS Max and Corona 8. I had a completely different goal in my mind when I began working on that scene. But things were changing along the way, and it turned out like this xD Pretty happy with the result, for now... With time, when we look back we see how things could have been better. Probably will happen with this one too.

Hello guys. I'm trying to do some matching with real drone footage, but before trying to do the alignment, I want to match the CoronaCamera sensor and lens settings to the real camera, which I already have the specs. It's the following:

DJI Mavic Pro
  • Sensor   1/2.3” (CMOS), Effective pixels:12.35 M (Total pixels:12.71M)
  • Lens   FOV 78.8° 26 mm (35 mm format equivalent) f/2.2
  • Distortion < 1.5% Focus from 0.5 m to ∞
  • ISO Range   video: 100-3200
  • photo: 100-1600
  • Electronic Shutter Speed   8s -1/8000 s
  • Image Size   4000×3000

In 3DS Max we have thos options for the CoronaCamera:

Field of View OR Focal Length [mm]
Film Width [mm]
Zoom Factor
ISO
F-Stop

How should I translate those camera specs to my CoronaCamera. Other thing, I can do a predefined Lens Correction in photoshop. Should I do it before the matching?

Hello guys! A project I made using Corona Renderer to render the final stills. I modelled the guitar myself in Blender, than textured it in Substance Painter.

The cool thing here is that I used a realistic approach to how the paint layer is made. The paint is entirely in the clearcoat layer of the new CoronaPhysicalMtl. Including the BaseColor of the coat in the Absortion input, the roughness, and Normal. So if you render this guitar without the clearcoat layer, you would see it completely in wood xD

(Of course, this means that I couldn't setup these shaders in the old CoronaLegacyMtl, maybe I will create a post later asking for help on how to set it up.)

A project I made after seeing a inspiration in Instagram on a post from a russian studio named Kubik, which used a similar mirror and layout. I made my own version of it.
