[C4D] I need help! / Random corona light very noisy

Hi team !

I've a very strange problem on my last scene.
I've a corona light very noisy and it's completely random. The position changes according to the frame, see attachement.

it appeared as much in video rendering as in interactive

Nothing fancy in the scene.

c4d r26, RC 10.1

I can send the scene.

You can only randomize position with the corona node, while with the variation shader you can randomize color, contrast gamma etc.

Each tile with a new color variation.

Hi Team !

Hope you're good.

Is it possible to randomize by UV tiles with the UVW randomizer or an other node ?

I can do that with the c4d variation node "polygon variation UV Tile", i'm curious to know if it's possible with corona node.

Hi Marduk,

Your maps are from quixel , as i can see.

Difuse: Albedo map - Color profil : embedded (default)
Reflection : Gloss/roughness - Color profil : Linear
Bump : Normal map in a corona normal node. Check Flip Y (green) -  Color profil : Linear
Displacement : I personally use the .jpg texture, Min level : -5, Max level : 5 (depends of your texture, it can be -10/10, -3/3 etc.) - Color profil : Linear

Keyframe problem ?

Select your object and open the Timeline (maf+F3).

Yes it happened to me, you need to remove or fix the missing textures in your project. This corrects the error.

It's not an error. It's the way displacement in IR works.

What do u mean about Nvidia or amd video card ?

Hi Corona team.

The direct, reflection or refraction override doesn't work with the last build.

Full-speed non-debug version
Build timestamp: Feb 27 2020 12:22:45
Version: 6.0 daily Feb 27 2020
Cinema version: R19.068 CINEMA 4D Studio (single-license)
Plugin status: Plugin successfully loaded

My colleague tried with V5 version and it worked.

It doesnt persist if you remove the multicloner.

You can replace  the multicloner by the mograph cloner. it's exactly the same thing, very long rendering shadow maps.


EDIT : Works PERFECTLY with the last build.

Hi Corona team,

I've noticed that in the last release candidate 11.25.19 there's a problem with the rendering shadow maps, that didn't exist in the 30.08.19 dailybuild.
So in this new version it takes a lot of time to start the rendering. Here's a video to help me explain the difference between the preparation time in this new version, in comparison with the last version.

I've to say that i've only tested RC3, don't know if this problem exists in the other RC's.

2 videos to illustrate, and the scene with private uploader.
