Hi guys,

I'm facing an issue I thought it was resolved, but maybe it's not the same one.

It shows on a vdb meshed object.
Look at those strange smoothing artefacts.

The more the light is directional, the more the artefacts are visible.

As a comparison, I rendered the same with no smoothing.

I submit the max scene too.

Thanks for your help!

Is this happening only in Corona? Can you please try with some other renderer? (I can try it later too)

Confirmed, doesn't happen in Vray and Scanline.
Workaround:
1. Go to development / experimental stuff - https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000021288
2. Change "Shadow shift" under "Terminator handling" from 0 to a bit more (values between 0.1 and 1.0 seem to be working fine).

I am reporting this to the devs.
