Hi, I'm new on Corona and Max (always used different software).
I'm trying to do a archiviz photomontage but I have a few questions:
I have a HDR (in Envi Map) that illuminates my scene and another different photo (JPG) for background (simple bitmap texture, Overrides direct visibility). Like this the scene is in light for the HDR but as background I can see my photo...also on VFB.
1. this is a correct workflow?
2. in the VFB I can see my model with the photo (JPG) overrides in background, but the tonemapping has affect also on the photo in background. Is it possible to have the photo in background as the original colors ect?So like this when I use tonemapping has affect only on my project.

Thank you!

Hi Tom,

thank you!But it seems not work...I've attached some screen shots...maybe I'm doing something wrong.
The scene is in light with the Corona environment and sun...no hdr. And I have the photo in background, Corona Bitmap in Screen mode.
Please check the EV in tonemapping.

;)
Nico

02.PNG: last paragraph. Looks like you made screenshots from one IR session? :)

Good Luck

your setup is right, now you changing tonemapping it will change whole image, but if you restart rendering again tonemapping will affect only for 3d object and will reset for background, every changing of tonmapping you need restart rendering to make it right. In corona IR viewpoint there is restart button, or stop rendering and start again in vfb

yes...I need it only in IR because I will composite the image in post.
If I stop and restart the IR it works..."refresh" no...but thank you!...if it was "interactived" it would have been very useful. It is to match the the light...

Thank you!
