Just out of interest; why does the Corona Color Correction node not have the capability to change the hue (similar to the slider in default 3ds max colour correction)?

What am I missing that means we can't do this?

I would like to see hue adjustment in CCC too, so i'll move this topic to feature request board.

CCC is quite brittle and limited anyway - compared to the old trusty ColorCorrect plugin (https://cuneytozdas.com/3ds-max-plugins/) which we stopped to use after ColorCorrection from Adesk was enhanced). It has RGB(a) HSV and HSL controls, I was surprised that it is still maintained.

Ah, that was easy! Thanks.

Yep, it's a bit of a surprise that this isn't already implemented, as it is a pain to sometimes be forced to use 3DXmax color correct, when otherwise I try to stick with Corona specific nodes.

This would be a great improvement - I presumed this wasn't implemented due to some limitation or other better practice I was unaware of. So thanks again.

I'm currently using Max's color correction every time.

Cuneyt recompiles it probably because I'm regularly poking him when a new Max version is out. Kudos to him for doing this, he has been busy with other stuff for some years now.
It's far superior to Max' built-in version and it has super convenient numerical clamping options, especially useful if you want to tweak you HDR maps. The only weak spot is the brightness/contrast combo, that one isn't really intuitive. But you can get a lot out of it.

Absolutely. And it seems to you too - for being unendurably niggling ;]

Great to see, thank you!

Maru, out of interest - and sorry for not digging up the thread - I seem to remember we also requested a °K color balance parameter. Would it be possible to add? It's one of the really useful things to have when adjusting colors from HDR to match a backplate or vice versa.

Can you please elaborate on your request, what kind of slider you are referring to? and what are the issues are facing with the current one?
