Corona needs a shadow catcher material for comping 3D into back plates.
Must be able to catch the shadows from all corona lights and environment.

I second this. But it needs to be looked at more thoroughly. Not to just implement what every other render has, but to try to do something better, simpler and more efficient. So if anyone has any ideas (even little subtle things that you miss in other renderers) that could improve workflow of composing elements onto backplates, then throw them here. :)
