Hi guys,

I don't know if it's already requested so sorry if I'm late :D
I really hope to see region/ "or" crop working with interactive render.

we need region render and ability for region to follow the mouse pointer like in vray, these are basic features that should be there

This works really well, thank you!

I think the only thing missing is the ability to do a blow-up. That would be quite fantastic.. let's say you're working on a small cushion on one chair in the middle of the scene. If you do a region of this area it will be miniscule in the IR window. If you could blow it up to the size of the IR window that would be fantastic...

Great work.

blow-up would be possible. Crop would be problematic. So I am adding blowup on my list.

You can find it in render settings>common tab or in standart VFB. Region controls inside Corona VFB is yet to come.

If you often use region / blowup modes, you can tell Corona to render into native VFB, look for that option in system tab.

no i didn't mean that way, i meant the way vray has it, you can select a region as you render in the vfb, you we need it in the vfb window, thats where its needed most, the one in 3ds max is annoying to use

Annoying or not, that's the only option we have for now. I'm pretty sure that  at some time there will be region controls in Corona VFB, maybe even better than Vray ones, we just have to wait for them :]

Yes I'm sure it will be here soon. It's quite desperately needed, but the current workarounds are ok for now.

So, no render region in the extended viewport as well right? I bought Corona just now to see this feature... bummer! :) Should have read the thread before.

Any news if we're going to have region render directly on VFB in v1.4?

Hi guys! I see Region controls are already present in VFB even with IR! Corona is getting awesomer every release! Are there any plans in integrating a somewhat simplified region render directly into the IR viewport?

+1 for this. Would be extremely handy to have a simple region/blow-up/stop/start/pause control directly in the IR window (both floating and viewport IR - we use both regularly).
