VBF
hello,

Is it possible to safe VBF automatically just like Render output?.

Reason : Once the render was okayish, I pressed stop and  clicked save VBF and Max crashed, although, the render was saved using Render output as a .tiff file. But if Auto VBF is possible, I could open the render and clean up a region area. Now I am just re-rendering the selected area to make it suitable. I know its not ideal, but generally it seems to work for naughty areas, when quick renders are needed.

Thanks.

Autosave already there. Look for it in system tab, IIRC.

Crashes should never happen, if you experience crashes - no matter how you did it - please report them!
Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.

hmzz, but how would I know it is do with the render engine.

I experience crashes probably in these three categories.

1. Scatter
2. Complex materials, during loading textures or playing around with settings.
3. Sometimes while modelling.
3. During render save, not anymore after using auto save.

edit : mostly happens on my low spec system, never experienced it on a workstation. :)
