hey guys,

Hope you are all good.

I just got back into 3d again and yadayada..

In Vray I would normally, create water mtl, noise in bump, and i would get a nice  looking river or lake for architectural images.

How do I do this in corona? I cannot seem to get it correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why don't you get correct results? Can you post what you are getting?

Sorry for asking something in someone`s post, but i have problems with caustics too.

I attached pics to show my results, materials and settings.

Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my native language.

Water material should not have diffuse at all. Set it to 0 black. Anyway bidir/VCM is an experimental feature not fully supported yet.
Is better to have a caustic pass instead of rendering the whole togheter.
Ages ago i did some tuto on caustics. just use one material instead of 3 if you are not interested in diffraction.

Is in the tutorial section of the forum. Is a little outdated but maybe it can help you.
