Hi,

i've found a bug in 2012-12-18 legacy build : when choosing Bidir and hit render, max crashes !

yes, bidir (as in separate renderer) is deprecated, use VCM with merging disabled to get working bidir

tried, crashing in vcm and bidir with or without merging. ( with 12.22.2012 - 2013 release )

then the scene is probably using something not yet supported (for example, do you have any textured lights in there? Does it render with clay material override?). I am not kidding with the "it's experimental at the moment" ;))

I don't know for the moment, scene was ok with previous release, the only thing changed is a new version of VFB+ 2.2 plugin (previously v2.1), maybe the problem is linked...

unfortunately, bidir/VCM will stay an experimental feature for some time
