Good image.

Are you using camera correction?

Also, you need to work on the child, he needs to blend in to the image and not look as a stuck on image. He cannot have the sun in both sides, there needs to be a shadow away from the sun.

[Max] I need help! / VBF
« on: 2015-06-20, 22:00:46 »
hello,

Is it possible to safe VBF automatically just like Render output?.

Reason : Once the render was okayish, I pressed stop and  clicked save VBF and Max crashed, although, the render was saved using Render output as a .tiff file. But if Auto VBF is possible, I could open the render and clean up a region area. Now I am just re-rendering the selected area to make it suitable. I know its not ideal, but generally it seems to work for naughty areas, when quick renders are needed.

Thanks.

Hey Guys

Story is - Last year I downloaded models from companies , you know, those CAD styled ones, where it looks good in the image, but when loaded, it looks like it had been crushed by a piano. :).
Apart from HAY, they do share high poly models but without uvmaps. Anyways, I had remodeled 80% from scratch, some, just sections and others just unwrapped. I Cannot remember which ones, but I am sharing them with the community, which I am hope, might come in handy for those quick scene setups.

Models are 3dsMax2012 - OBJ file. I have removed the turbo-smooth for further personal Uv-edits.

Models -----> https://www.mediafire.com/folder/aba9laxc9x47d/3D_Models
Textures ( Fabric and personal ones ) ---> https://www.mediafire.com/folder/brz80ov1gwe7r/Textures

Due to DeadClowns request, textures are removed, you can download each on by it self from the links provided. Regarding Models of companies, I cannot find any disclaimers, but also, the models they provide are practically useless as is, both models and textures from the given sites were modified  ( rebuilt in most cases )to make them useable for final output. Hope this is sufficient if not let me know, I will remodel some of the legs :)

A Few textures were used from "©Admira Pte Ltd" http://www.admira.sg/ - http://treefrogveneer.com/

Okay DeadClown, updated it.

[Max] I need help! / water - lake - river - sea
« on: 2015-01-09, 17:01:06 »
hey guys,

Hope you are all good.

I just got back into 3d again and yadayada..

In Vray I would normally, create water mtl, noise in bump, and i would get a nice  looking river or lake for architectural images.

How do I do this in corona? I cannot seem to get it correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

In terms of arch vis, it all depends on what part of the production line you are in, meaning, either in the 2d or 3d team. 2d, to create the super quick images ( half a day - 1 day - few days and the amount of changes are super annoying ), and 3d you guessed it ( Time, maybe a day to months, regarding super realism or animation ).

However as visualisation is becoming easier, there is a merge of both requirements regarding the Artist to now be versed in both 2d and 3d. Only a few can do this.  If you work for an Arch firm, once again depending on its size and projects, you will be producing super fast imaging and probably no realism at all to images such as - Mir - Luxigon - Dbox - but even these are considered the end result of imaging - Final advertising imaging. So a project could go through 20 internal images over a period of a year to then be eligible for few final advertising shots, which is then given to the named companies.

If Freelancing, no one cares as long as you can show what you can produce, but even then as you mentioned, you need a business model, how are you going to beat all the other super good freelancers?. Considering, the new trend where companies are creating their own teams, as its probably half the price in terms of wages per staff.

I used to use vray and now switched to corona. The senior partners or architects do not care what I am using, all they care is whether what they envisaged is what they can show the client.

Better to learn both, and I still don't even know Max or Vray in and out, but the work is always produced.
