i have attached the leaf material
it was very simple actually
i used a gradient image in diffuse and a lighter version of it in translucency map nothing else

yes
put corona as default renderer
use corona material converter ( see goodies scetion ) to convert all materials into corona
save it :P and run it everytime instead of your main max shortcut LOL


OR


there is a workaround using a script and changing the defaults settings but the above one is quite convenient

may be wrong scale of grass?

i have this type of long grass in my village :D i took reference from there and from deadclown scene


maybe my scene grass a bit more broad but this type of grass exists hehehe :)
