[Max] I need help! / Is this render correct physically?
« on: 2016-11-05, 18:44:36 »
Hi guys,
I tried to render my scene using Corona but I think the liquid inside the vial isn't correct physically. What's your opinion? Is this a bug for Corona 1.5? Those dark areas inside the liquid are unusual.
Please help me.
Thanks.

[Max] General Discussion / GGX shading
« on: 2016-11-03, 20:03:23 »
Hi guys,
In V-Ray there is GGX shading option that has an adjustable value called GTR tailoff. GTR tailoff is very important to reach a satisfactory effect. I'm aware that the only shader in Corona is GGX but is it available  to change GTR tailoff in Corona? I looked up everywhere in the material editor but I couldn't find anything.

Hi guys,
I want to share my last renders using Corona renderer. Great thanks for supporting team.

I found a big bug in Corona 1.5. When I apply Maru's material in my scene the result is what you see above but when I open Maru's file and import my mesh into his file and apply his material, it works. I don't know why!

125
Do you think this result is as same as the reference image?
I applied Maru's settings.

Maru already solved the problem in your first thread with his awesome eye-hand-corona coordination, by providing you with a small scale light scattering version of the syringe plastic.

From here on out everything you want is based on your desires and personal vision. The forum users were kind enough to take time from what they do to make materials based on your photo. Now you have to develop it into your own. No amount of words will ever match your vision in your head.

Also, frowny smileys and direct requests "take a snapshot of the Corona material or save it in max file" are definitely things, that will put people off from helping you. Even a thanks after that implies, that you don't appreciate the work others do, even if you really do. Don't open up new threads based on old requests.

I tried to make such a material but I couldn't get the exact same result.
Well thats the job of a 3D visualizer! Try to play with the base material Maru provided and once you can match your vision, it will be all the more a juicy victory, once you succeeded in your job.

For technical questions, you can always hit up the forums. Good luck :]
Thank you.

No, seriously?! https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,12781.0.html
Thank you for your response. I tested those settings too but it cannot render a realistic result. I really confused.

Hi dear friend,
Your render looks great and I appreciate it. I'm curious to know what parts are 3d. Have you used HDRI backplates?
How did you apply that chromatic aberration effect? Using Corona?

Create a second glass material, set the diffuse to white/whatever colour your powder is and plug the map you created into the refraction colour slot.
I think it'd be better to plug it into opacity. Right?

[Max] I need help! / How to render a photo-realistic syringe
« on: 2016-11-03, 07:22:28 »
Hi guys,
I've provided you a reference photo which may be a 3d render by itself. I  modeled such an object. I tried to make such a material but I couldn't get the exact same result. As you see in the reference photo, there is some amount of whitish scattering and absorbtion.
Please help me to make this material in Corona. Please take a snapshot of the Corona material or save it in max file, if it's possible for you.
Thanks.

[Max] I need help! / How to make powder?
« on: 2016-10-27, 22:43:52 »
Hi guys,
I'm gonna model a penicillin vial and the powder inside it. I don't have any idea how to make its powder to get a photo-realistic image. I provided you a real vial model. As you see in the photo, the powder has been scattered randomly over glass's wall. Please guide me to model the powder like the photo you saw. I use 3DS MAX and Corona.

I am not the biggest fan of weapons and all this Military stuff. But damn, the Level of Detail and the materials are realy good. And... it is no skandinavian interior. As good as they all are, i am getting Kind of bored seeing just stuff like this in the Forum. So from this side on, your post is a welcome Change here. Good work. Would like to see other (non Military) works from you.

Have a nice weekend.
Thank you dear friend. You are welcome!

Well done, It's really beautiful. How did you modelled those snow particles over the car? Are they a simple displacement? Or you have used particle system? Please explain a bit more. Thanks
