Title: Moire effect
Post by: Moflea93 on 2024-03-22, 12:01:21
Howdy,

I have a problem and I would appreciate some advice.
I'm working on a scene, and the texture of the bed is causing me problems, specifically the moire effect. On the monitor it is not so obvious, but on the phone it is very bad. The export resolution is 3000x2000 px, PNG format, texture filtering High.

What do you think I should do to stop this effect from being so strident?

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps you could try rendering it at an even higher resolution? Sometimes, slightly rotating a texture can help remove moire.

Although it relates to C4D, it may be of some help: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=35217.0

Here are some solutions which you can try:

- Render your frames in a higher resolution and downscale them in postproduction.
- Use an Image Filter with a higher Width value - it will suppress the moiré pattern and other artifacts by slightly blurring the image during rendering (you can choose your image filter and change its width in
- 3ds Max: Render Setup > System > Frame Buffer > Image Filter
- Cinema 4D: Render Settings > Corona > Frame Buffer Settings
