Simple question ;). I am interested in this because I would like to remove support for 3ds Max 2011 and 2012 in the near future. It is getting to expensive to drag along the backwards compatibility... Also there are some improvements that we could do that would work only in the later 3ds max versions, and I would like to know what percentage of users would benefit from them

Please Ondra keep a working and available (buyable, rentable, etc.) version for 2012, even it is not developed anymore; it should/could be compatible with newer versions and gives value for those who got off from AD train a few years ago, but still use Max on daily basis.

I think there's still a percentage of users using 2012, it was one of the more stable releases. Maybe drop 2011, but please keep 2012 around for another year. (I'm selfish, I myself happen to have some assets in 2012 that I'd love to be able to convert in 2012 and then move to 2016 or later)

If I could get the damn service packs for 2016 to install I'd use it...but I'm stuck with 2014 for now.

Please, don't drop support for 3ds 2012...
It's very important for people who have legal software and don't need to upgrade...
If they don't pirate 3ds just to have newer version, they will be also paying for Corona.

Itoo Soft is supporting 3ds 2012 and even earlier versions...
VIZPARK is supporting 3ds 2012...

Could we have Blender plugin as Max is becoming unbearable due to bad design and bugs...
The moment you will make a plugin Max is over for me.

It seems that not I'm the only one who said no to AD after Max 2012.:)))

Please don't drop support for upcoming 1.5 release - I'm 2012 user and I'm very excited about 1.5 version...
Chaos Group still keeps 2011 and 2012:)

ok, so far it looks like we might drop just 2011 for 1.5 release

Thank you! It would be great!
Corona is great and very powerfull - with new features from 1.5 it will be even greater for me, and I was checking roadmap regularly:)
So even if in future realeses 3ds 2012 will be dropped - I will be still paying for FairSaaS and using 1.5 because configuration 3ds 2012 + Corona 1.5 will be sufficient for acheiving great results.

I'm after some test with demo of Corona... I'm planning to start using it for commercial projects. We have 2 licenses of 3DS 2012 in our small studio, we use many custom tools/scripts which are still compatible with 2012.
