Latest RC build crashes M1Max

Interesting indeed. For me the issue was with Ornatrix hair plugin. Had no choice but to remove it and all was fine. In your case though, if you do manage to pin-point it, reporting it to their devs would be good. ;)

Hi, same for me!

I was using an older DB (corona-10-c4d-daily-2023-03-09-mac) and it was working perfectly. I wanted to test the new features and updated to the latest RC, but it is unusable. It keeps crashing every time I try to resize the IR and on some other random occasions (I could not see other patterns). I'll switch back to the latest DB as suggested by other users. Cheers!

I was using an older DB (corona-10-c4d-daily-2023-03-09-mac) and it was working perfectly. I wanted to test the new features and updated to the latest RC, but it is unusable. It keeps crashing every time I try to resize the IR and on some other random occasions (I could not see other patterns). I'll switch back to the latest DB as suggested by other users. Cheers!

We just released RC3, can you test it once again and keep us posted? Also, I'm chatting with another Philip from SurfaceSPREAD about this so fingers crossed we reach a positive resolution :)

I just tried it – when handling bigger scenes after I stop the IR, it gives a plugin error and crashes. All fine until that point.

Hi there, what plugin are you referring to? Also SurfaceSPREAD? Can you share the crash report and mini dump .dmp file for us? Also, what version of C4D are you using? Win or Mac?

I am not using SurfaceSPREAD, my plugin list is: Forester, Instasify, Megascan, Rhino IO, Vray.

Hi, ok. As mentioned to Phil, try removing all the plugins and add them back one by one to see which one is triggering the crash. Please let us know your findings. Thanks!
