I am usually always connected to the internet but today my broadband is having issues so I am unable to connect, corona is saying license not found. Surely you can use corona offline, even if it’s for a set amount of days?

Not sure if this has been asked before but is there any way we could have a setting where the light would scale up/down its lumens if the light rectangle remains constant in width but becomes longer eg, the LED is 1cm wide and 450 lumens at 30cm- that becomes scalable dependent on length ? would save quite a bit of time especially when it can be dialed in once and then left to work throughout the scene on multiple length strip lights. At the moment I have to use this calculation on each strip light :: length divided by 30 x 450 = lumens needed

[Max] I need help! / infinity mirror

I have a mirror reflecting a mirror creating an infinity mirror, but I have noticed the reflections stop after the 10th or 11th reflection and it then becomes black. Is this normal ? And is there a way to keep the loop going infinitely ?

[Max] I need help! / Render Passes

Hi All,

This may be a very stupid question.

If i do a region render and allow it to render for 220 passes, would that same region look the same after 220 passes without the region on ? I am trying to figure out how many passes I would need to clean up an image without actually rendering the whole image as I want to send it to a farm.

[Max] I need help! / very strange DR

Hi All,

I have the latest daily build installed and 3ds max 2016. I have followed every example to get Dr to work.. backburner etc. My problem is that when I start DR the slave picks up and starts rendering, but its own individual VFB, does not sync with my master and when i stop my master it continues to render. I then press stop on the slave and it says it is gathering passes. It in now way syncs and is working as an independant render like backburner ?

Any suggestions ? I have reinstalled max and backburner and corona

rendered at 3K for an hour, probably needs a decent amount more render time to sharpen and tidy the textures up.

Hi All, looks like I am making the switch from Vray to Corona, it seems far more easy and fast to create test renders for the client than Vray could ever do. C&C always welcome-this is a low res test though so bare in mind.
