How to create fog

In c4d to make fog you create big sphere to cover your scene, turn on fog in mat settings and set proper distance. I did the same with corona volume mat, seems to work, exept one thing - fog doesn't fade in distance. What i am doing wrong?

update:
Ok, so i found that sneaky field where you have to drop your volume mat. Pretty obvious, under general settings tab, thx for pointing that out :D
