Hi guys,

I'm attempting to create a quick effect for bubbles in gel by scattering spheres (chrome shader) WITHIN a cylinder (water/gel shader)

However the scatter is placing the spheres outside the sphere as well as inside.

How can i confine the scatter to be ONLY inside the cylinder..?

Thanks in advance guys.

You have selected BBox so, the result is correct.
I can suggest you to create 4-5 cylinders (without caps), inside the main cylinder, hid this surface and use a "Suface" option in the CoronaScatter.

Unfortunately there is no automated way to scatter in volume right now.
One solution other than the ones suggested here would be to map the scattered particles' opacity with Corona Distance map. This way whatever is outside of the geometry would be invisible, however this will produce some of the particles cut in half.
