You can upload it there: https://corona-renderer.com/upload/

I'd love to see multi/sub-object material supported as override material.

Try to use jpeg images for opacity maps, if you are not doing so yet. 8 bit JPGs seem to perform best out of all.
To my knowledge, greyscale bitmaps [single channel, no alpha] as opacity maps are unbeatable in Corona so far.

And yes, that vegetation looks gorgeous. A bit too reflective, maybe?

If use photographic exposure is unchecked, exposure control is achieved via exposure (EV) spinner in corona settings>exposure and color mapping or vfb>color mapping.

[Max] I need help! / Re: stainless steel noisy
« on: 2014-08-05, 09:45:15 »
Pretty sure, it's bump map. It's better to replicate brushed steel with glossiness map alone. Leave bump mapping for broad surface irregularities.

So there's your answer :] Check it if you want to adjust exposure with shutter speed, iso and/or F-number.

Btw, after managing to recover the scene...
I think there's something wrong with (7.1) and the camera settings ...

no matter what value for SS ( shutter speed ) i set, it always renders the same ..... (camera rollout override - OFF )

Is "use photographic exposure" checked?

Fully procedural. Be awared, that material contains bercon noise maps, so if you don't have them installed, you may get error message. Good thing that those maps aren't vital for materials looks, so you can easily switch them off or replace by native noise. In attached video is shown, how to prepare mesh for this material.

Material is tuned to best fit ~2cm diameter cable. If you need other diameters or your system units are other than cm, you may have to adjust displacement level in main "steel" material. All 3d procedural maps are converted to 2d, so hopefully, you don't need to adjust them on unit conversion.

If you enhance this material or make it more simple, please, do share results with comunity.

max 2014 version, only.

Topic merged.

Wouldn't it be the same as falloff map in glossiness?

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Rounded corners issue
« on: 2014-08-02, 22:32:56 »
Build timestamp: Jul 31 2014 00:36:27
Corona version: Daily build post-A7, Maxsdk version: 2014

I think it's a bug. If object A has material with rounded corners enabled and object B is in distance from A's surface, equal or less than rounded corner radius, then strange artifacts are rendered on object A.

Just checked with mental ray - nothing unusual.
Meanwhile in Coronaland:
Ok, i admit, i'm stressing it, but still...

Curious, is this a bug or a feature? :]
