I'm linking Revit files. When I render I get no light. I have to add max lights such as an Omni light to each revit light for lighting to work

Is there a way of converting the Revit photometric lights so they can be used with Corona

We are talking about Corona for Max, right?
What kind of objects are the Revit lights once you open the scene in 3ds Max?

I am not aware of any converter like this, but if you could find a converter that converts those Revit lights into 3ds Max lights, then it should help. If you could convert them to Vray lights, then Corona Converter could convert them to Corona lights.

They should work with Corona, if you set the shadow parameter to Corona.

Hope it helps

I have worked out a work around

1. Link the Revit Scene
2. Place 1 corona light in the scene
3. Download solbourne Scripts
4. Use the Object Replacer to replace the photometric lights from Revit with the corona light
