Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like @tma knows the trick?

77
Ugh, after 5 minutes of furious clicking I was even not able to rotate a chair :) It's different like generic 3D programs, probably for a good reason. I need to find some tutorials how to rotate an object and then will explore why it's not working for Corona Light.

78
Hi. I'd like to help, but I'm afraid I don't understand your issue. Is this correctly working with lights from AC library? It's not more AC issue than Corona Light issue?
Thanks for bringing more light into this.

Can you fix and reinstall Corona render alpha 4 denoise error?

What denoise error you mean? The issue mentioned in this thread with Corona Image Editor? If you have another issues with denoising, please make a new report for your issue in the bug reporting section: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?board=47.0

Corona Alpha 5 , has been completed ?  (as we see in https://trello.com/b/xEpkKO34/corona-road-map-archicad).
More features will be added or will remain as they are ?

Alpha 5 is still in development - please note the header of the column on the road map. Yes, Corona Alpha 5 will add mentioned improvements and features to the build. We make a new build in 1Q for sure. Thanks for patience.

Hello everybody.

Where do I find the plugin for archicad 23 on MAC? (MacOS)

Hi. I'm sorry to say that, neither of them is ready. Please take a look at our roadmap: https://trello.com/b/xEpkKO34/corona-road-map-archicad

Hi. When i try to open Corona Image Editor - have this error. I tried to reinstall. Same

Hi and thanks for reporting the issue.

HOTFIX

Run the installer and select Unpack files radio button. This will unpack necessary files to selected folder. Find that folder and go to Corona for ARCHICAD 22 folder. Copy:
  • LegionOpenImageDenoise-0.9.0-v141-Release.dll
  • LegionTbb-2018.2-v141-Release.dll
Now open your Corona Image editor folder (If you've installed it previously, it's default location is C:\Program Files\Corona\ImageEditor) and paste previously mentioned files.

Hi and thanks for report.
We are aware of this issue and this functionality will be implemented (it's pretty high in the priority list). The file loading workflow will be replaced with the one you mentioned.
Thanks for your patience.

84
Yes, as discussed. All the functionality will be maintained, you will find the settings on a more common location - in Photorendering Settings.

Based on my limited experience with the Corona rendering palette (2 or 3 days worth) I actually prefer its layout compared to the typical photo rendering settings palette.
There are also a few benefits to using it that I have found so far, mainly that renders launched from the corona palette launch in the VFB, whereas using the photo rendering settings palette docks the render into an Archicad tab like normal. Unsure if there is still a way to use the VFB with the Archicad style interface currently.
Also the corona palette allows you to launch the interactive render view, whereas the photorendering settings preview seems to use different settings / take longer.

Currently it is confusing having the 2, but there are benefits to the dedicated corona palette which I hope can be carried over to the Archicad style UI.
One other thing to note is that rendering settings from the photorendering palette can be saved with a view, so you could have a view set up for preview settings and one for a final, for example.
Currently the corona palette just seems to maintain the most recent settings, which can be frustrating. Is there / will there be a way to save a render profile?

Thanks, and hope this insight helps

We will bring all the features from current Corona rendering palette into AC Photorendering settings and our goal is to make it more simple and better organized. Of course, Interactive rendering, render into VFB window will stay and we plan to implement save/load rendering settings as well. According to another survey we keep the Interactive palette too.

[ARCHICAD] Feature Requests / Re: layer mixing
« on: 2020-01-11, 16:16:13 »

Hello and thank you for your suggestion. As you can see we have basic layers implementation now.
The materials editor (and the material library) are big topics and we plan to rework this part of our plugin and definitely bring a better user experience.

Dear ARCHICAD users, I'm posting another survey - this time regarding PhotoRendering Settings and our Corona rendering panel.

As you can see in the screenshot, they are the same. We brought another unnecessary duplicity and complexity in the UI and therefore considering to remove the Corona rendering panel. By finishing this step we will unify the rendering workflow in AC and keep the standard way for setting the rendering options.
Also, we plan to bring other common AC UI elements to reorder and better group options within the palette.

We assume the PhotoRendering Settings is a very well known palette to you hence this step will be easily utilized.

As always, your feedback is more than appreciated.

Hi everyone!
I would partecipate to the evolution process of the software, but our projects are completely depending on AC 23 so we cannot use Corona anymore... it is a great pity!
Are you working on another version AC23 compatible??

Thank you!!

Of course, the AC23 version is something we want to deliver ASAP. Can't tell the exact dates though, but it's in our priority list. Just keep an eye on this forum, it will be announced here at certain

[ARCHICAD] Feature Requests / Re: Scattering System
« on: 2020-01-07, 11:06:35 »
Hello! Corona Scatter is a planned feature. True, it's not on our roadmap yet, but we talked about it internally last year.
We need to fuse business and development needs first :)
