My last minute contribution to the christmas image party with these 2 simple images. My goal was to create an analog look with handheld camera angles. Let me know if I succeeded

Merry christmas everybody!

Gallery / Warm Tones - Interior Project
« on: 2023-07-10, 11:40:35 »
Hi,

I've completed a set of interior images for a house located in Budapest. As the project went along I realized I should embrace all warm design choices with even warmer heavy sun filling up all the spaces in the images.

Hope you like it, full project here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/174697337/Warm-Tones

« on: 2023-06-19, 13:53:25 »
My friend started to manufacture these giant desk lamps in real-life which can go up to 4-5 meters high and I had the opportunity to create online & offline campaign renders for it. The idea and goal was to create visually bold images and also trying to represent the sheer size and comedy by fitting a giant a lamp in 3 different regular enviroments as well as creating a few aesthetic close up images. Bonus last pic is from an art shop in Budapest where we presented the giant lamp and also the renders as prints :)

I use default settings all the time but I think sharpness can come from a few elements combined. Try to use good high res/ quality textures especially on the main elements of your render (I usually set the bitmap filter to 0,1) and render at least a 3k 4k image. For noise level I usually target 3% but 4% can already look good in some cases. If it's done right you should be able to avoid sharpening in VBF or postproduction completely... but bit of contrast or clarity can also help. Hope these help :)

I think the ones I used here are from 3DCollective, but I like Maground and Peter Gutherie (classics) or you can grab few good ones for interior from Viz.Guru's (Johannes Lindqvist) Patreon

Thanks! For the daylight interiors it's a bit more cloudy HDRI for even lighting + Corona Sun for flexible control for the sun intensity & direction. Outside is a plain clear sky HDRI and so is the sunset image, it's a simple dusk HDRI with corona lights inside

Hi,

Since traveling is a big no-no the past year I had a blast imagining myself on the sunny side of the globe. For my latest project I had to create a batch of interior images located next to a golf court in Dubai. Of course I blasted them with as much sun as possible :)

[Max] I need help! / Re: Rendering a huge image
« on: 2020-01-14, 10:56:49 »
No correction but "which they will upscale 10x and print" sounds like they plan a kind of gossamer print, maybe an entire fake facade to cover the building lot (covering scaffolds) or fencing. In this case the resolution sounds appropriate to me. Of course it will be overkill to print it into a flysheet, right.

The print will go on a side cover of a truck and the info was the following:
SCALE 1:10 WITH 720DPI OR VECTOR GRAPHICS
The image must be created on a scale of 1:10 and with a minimum resolution of 720dpi. Real life dimensions: 1348cm x 277cm

720 PPI on 134,8cm x 27,7cm kind of made sense since they will upscale it 10 times. In the yt video chart 72 PPI falls between 2-3m of viewing distance which seems fair for a truck on the road.
Let me know if my calculations are wrong

Hi all,

I have a task to upscale one of my existing render to 38211px X 7852px 720DPI (which they will upscale 10x and print). Besides replacing all the textures to 4k/8k what would be an ideal solution to render such a large image?

- split it up to 4 pieces with a script or somehow?
- sending it to a renderfarm
- trying to render it in one go on my workstation + slave ? I have a Threadripper 2990WX /64 GB workstation with a Xeon 2683 v3/ 64 GB slave
- other solution.. ?

Thanks for the help!

Gallery / Parisi Udvar in Budapest
« on: 2019-07-18, 12:00:40 »
Hi,
My Parisi Udvar project in Budapest just got green light to publish so here I am.

Small background info:
It took 4,5 years of work to bring back to original shine of the building with new interior plans and I think everyone made an amazing job. It was first opened in 1912-1913 then it got a lot of damage due to the hungarian revolution in '56 which led to a few restoration projects in the 60s and 80s. Those weren't really successful since they made a bunch of bad decisions which kind of damaged the building even more. In 2014 the most recent one started and finished successfully this year.

I had the opportunity to work on the passage, grand cafe and vip lounge areas which are turned out pretty close to what the reality is today (rare stuff :D).
I got a base model of the building from and architect team which I had to modify a lot and add detail to. The hero shots were finished in early 2018 with corona early 2018 (I have no idea tbh) and I created the deatil shots recently with Corona 4

Hope ya like it, visit if you can. It looks very nice :)

Hi all,

Which Arch Viz Patreon pages worth considering?
I follow Johannes Lindqvist's patreon which I like a lot. Great level of knowledge with useful tips & tricks. Is there someone similar? Interior / exterior
