Hi all,

I`m running into a problem I can not figure out. I hope you guys can help :)

I have created my own node based texture (wood). The last step was adding some glossines / blurry reflections on the wood.
The problem is that this gives allot of noise on specific places in the rendering, primarly the rounde part of the wood.
In some shots even at noise range of 1% those specific places keep allot of noise.

I hope you guys can give some direction what this can be and how it can be solved.

Attached I have the scene and a print screen from an earlier render pass that show the noise in the specific places.

Attached:

- printscreens of the noise
- printscreen of node based material
- zip with the C4D-file
- printscreen corona version: 9 hotfix 1
- printscreen windows version: 11

Hi there, are you able to share the scene with us so we can look into it further? Can you share your material setup as well? What version of Corona, Cinema, Mac, or Windows are you using?

Hi Bengamin,

Thank you for your response.

As you requested I attached several files to the start post:

- build up of the node based material
- C4D-file with textures in a ZIP
- printscreens of Corona and Windows version (Corona 9 hotfix 1 + Windows home 11)

The laptop I`m working on is a ASUS g14 | AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS | 40GB of RAM | Geforce RTX 3060

Hope you can help me out :)
Pretty new to Corona so maybe I`m missing something :)

Hi, thanks for the file. I had to clean up the geometry a fair bit by selecting certain faces and using the ''melt'' function. :/ I also noticed that one of the materials was applied to the entire mesh but had no selection tag. After doing this I got the result as shown. I hope this helps.

Thanks for looking into this!

After melting and editing the selection tag so there are no overlapping materials I still get the same result :(
Render is 4 passes, but when I let it run longer the noise stays, but less

Can I send you a private onedrive link with the whole file and textures?
