Trying to get the objects and their shadows to display like the render attached but without the blue floor plane.
So objects & shadows on transparency.

Not sure why it's so difficult?
Any help please

Have tried using the shadow Catcher but must not have setup correctly and cannot find any good resource to help online for C4D

Tried using shadow catcher and the shadows come out super soft and nothing like the shadows produced in full render

Hi,

Do you have ''For Compositing'' selected in the Shadow Catcher? This seems to be working here. It was also saved as a .png from the VFB. I hope that helps.

Great thanks for the help!

I had for compositing checked but I needed to put the sky object in the environment slot under the shadow catcher.
The main thing though was to make sure 'Shadowcatcher Illuminator' was unchecked under the light properties

Now it's sorted.
